CEDASPE pressure relief devices are designed to prevent excessive mechanical 

stress caused by increases in pressure that can occur in the event of a short 

circuit inside an oil-filled transformer.

The RT6 series is designed to operate quickly in response to sudden increases 

in pressure inside the transformer. The VP 150 series has a directional oil flow 

design with a square flange for installation into a duct to direct oil flow in the 

event of an internal electrical fault.
