Solenoid Safety Switch

These guard locking devices ensure that guard doors remain shut until any dangerous condition has ceased to exist. With the guard door locked in place, the safety contacts are closed, with the position of the solenoid magnet monitored by an additional NC contact. Applying power to the solenoid allows the guard to be opened. The units are used in conjunction with a timer or standstill monitor. Installation is further simplified by new connection technology using insulation displacement terminals, an integral cable gland is provided. Units also have an auxiliary unlocking facility as an installation aid, and in case of a power failure. M5 triangular key available
